Hera

Hera is a gentle and affectionate. Initially a little shy, she quickly warms up with kindness and a few treats, revealing a deeply loving and intuitive nature. Hera forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives in a calm, peaceful home where she feels emotionally safe and gently welcomed. She enjoys cuddles, rubs, and sleeping next to her people, and is especially fond of gazing out the window or watching “Cat TV” on YouTube.

Playful yet independent, Hera loves chasing table tennis balls, ribbons, and shoelaces. One of her endearing quirks is carrying a red ribbon in her mouth while meowing, inviting you to play. She also prefers drinking from your glasses and adores head bumps and soft attention.

Ideal as a solo pet or with friendly feline companions, Hera will blossom in a patient and loving home.  In return, she offers unwavering companionship, curiosity, and a calming presence –  she knows when to come in for a cuddle and when to give you space. She will be a friend for life.

How to Meet Hera:

Please read the adoption process and contact us if you would like to organise to meet one or more of our cats/kittens. Our cats and kittens are desexed, microchipped and lifetime registered with Council, vaccinated twice or even three times in certain cases, flea and worm treated.

1. Please contact adoptions@catrescue901.org.au or complete the form below. Include your name, phone number and cat’s name/s, and we will contact you as soon as we can.

2. We will call you to have a chat and then put you in touch with the foster carer so that you can meet them.

3. In line with ethical rescue practice, we will do a home check before the adoption is finalised and all adoptions are on a 2 weeks trial basis.

4. Adoption payments – Please ensure when adopting that you donate the adoption fee here.

5. CatRescue 901 is solely run and supported by volunteers and we rely on donations to rescue kittens and cats and to run our ongoing subsidised desexing program. If you would like to support us please make a tax deductible donation.
