CatRescue 901 is a small team of volunteers who are dedicated to helping cats in need in pounds and the community. We do not receive any funding and are only able to continue our vital rescue work thanks to the generosity of the community. Donations over $2 are tax deductible. Thank you for your support.

with one of our beautiful cats currently awaiting adoption.
For more than 10 years CatRescue has been saving beautiful kittens and cats from death row pounds and the streets.
Our cats are cared for by our network of trained foster carers. This is of enormous benefit to people wishing to adopt, as our rescued cats have been living in a home environment, are litter trained and often socialised with children and other animals. This also ensures our cats are in good health, well adjusted and have had the opportunity to recover from the trauma of abandonment. All our cats are kept in quarantine for four weeks and are vet treated if they are ill.
The adoption fee is $250 each, or $440 for a pair unless otherwise specified. These adoption fees contribute to only part of the cost of the vetwork.
All our cats are located in the Sydney metropolitan, they are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated prior to being rehomed.
We encourage you to take out pet insurance. Pet Secure offers 10% discount to our new adopters. When you’re insured with Pet Secure, if your beloved pet is injured or falls ill, you can get up to 85% of the eligible vets bills paid, with NO EXCESS, up to $12,000 each and every year, and it’s guaranteed renewable for life. Call 1300 855 160. Visit www.petsecure.com.au for more.
