Mia and George

**As we are a volunteer run rescue, only potential successful applicants will be replied to – you may not get a response if there is a more successful applicant**

Mia and George are a sweet bonded pair who are looking for their forever home together. Mia is a gentle girl who loves following her humans around, asking for cuddles with her soft meows and affectionate headbutts. Once she has your attention, she quickly settles in, purring away. She’s playful, especially with wand toys, and enjoys spending time with other cats. Mia’s mix of cuddly affection and easy-going independence makes her a wonderful companion who will fit right in to a calm and loving home.

George, her best friend, shares many of Mia’s traits. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, his playful and affectionate side shines through. He adores wand toys as well and enjoys quiet cuddle time. George is a bit timid and takes his time with meals.

George does have a medical condition that may require surgery in the future, so he’ll need a family who can give him the care he deserves.

Mia and George must be rehomed together.

How to Meet Mia and George:

Our special rescue cats are all available for adoption. Please read the adoption process and contact us if you would like to organise to meet one or more of our cats/kittens. Our cats and kittens are desexed, microchipped and lifetime registered with Council, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.

1. Please contact adoptions@catrescue901.org.au or complete the form below. Include your name, phone number and cat’s name/s, and we will contact you as soon as we can.

2. We will call you to have a chat and then put you in touch with the foster carer so that you can meet them.

3. In line with ethical rescue practice, we will do a home check before the adoption is finalised and all adoptions are on a 2 weeks trial basis.

4. Adoption payments – Please ensure when adopting that you donate the adoption fee here.

5. CatRescue 901 is solely run and supported by volunteers and we rely on donations to rescue kittens and cats and to run our ongoing subsidised desexing program. If you would like to support us please make a tax deductible donation.
