Mai – Assisted Rehome

Mai is a confident, energetic young lady who shows her best self once she’s had a little time to settle in. After warming up, she’s friendly and engaging, with a playful streak that keeps life interesting. Mai loves interactive play and is happiest chasing thrown toys or launching surprise pounces at wand toys — she has excellent timing and enthusiasm.

When playtime is over, Mai enjoys being close to her people, often choosing to sit or lie nearby rather than curl up in your lap. She values her personal space and will let you know when she’s comfortable, making her a great match for someone who respects feline boundaries.

That said, when Mai is feeling sleepy and relaxed, she’s all about affection — especially head scratches, which she thoroughly enjoys. Mai would suit a home looking for a playful companion with a balanced, independent nature and an appreciation for a cat who enjoys both activity and calm company.

In line with ethical rescue practice, there will be a home check before the adoption is finalised and all adoptions are on a 2 weeks trial basis.
