Rowan is a young, playful girl who loves being part of whatever her people are doing. She’s confident, curious, and always ready to investigate a new toy or explore a new corner of the house. When she’s not playing, she’s usually purring — she’s one of those cats who starts up the moment you walk into the room.
Rowan enjoys human company and settles in quickly with gentle attention. She has been tested with other cats and does well, showing friendly interest without being pushy. She’s also seen a dog from a distance; while she hasn’t been closely tested, she handled the moment calmly and may be fine with a slow introduction.
If you’re looking for a young cat with a sweet nature, plenty of personality, and a steady motor, Rowan would be a great fit. She’ll happily join a home that can give her company, playtime, and kindness.
How to Meet Rowan:
Please read the adoption process and contact us if you would like to organise to meet one or more of our cats/kittens. Our cats and kittens are desexed, microchipped and lifetime registered with Council, vaccinated twice or even three times in certain cases, flea and worm treated.
1. Please contact adoptions@catrescue901.org.au or complete the form below. Include your name, phone number and cat’s name/s, and we will contact you as soon as we can.
2. We will call you to have a chat and then put you in touch with the foster carer so that you can meet them.
3. In line with ethical rescue practice, we will do a home check before the adoption is finalised and all adoptions are on a 2 weeks trial basis.
4. Adoption payments – Please ensure when adopting that you donate the adoption fee here.
5. CatRescue 901 is solely run and supported by volunteers and we rely on donations to rescue kittens and cats and to run our ongoing subsidised desexing program. If you would like to support us please make a tax deductible donation.
