Wolverine is a sweet and affectionate girl who is looking for a patient family to help her continue building her confidence. While she can be a little nervous in new situations, she has a gentle nature and loves attention once she feels safe.
One of Wolverine’s favourite activities is making biscuits. Give her some pats and she’ll happily knead away while soaking up the affection. She loves being close to her people and will often climb onto you for extra pats, although she’s not quite ready to settle into a lap for long periods just yet. With time and patience, we think she has all the makings of a future lap cat.
Wolverine appreciates having a safe hiding spot where she can retreat when she feels unsure, but with a little encouragement she’ll come out to socialise.
Wolverine will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace.
How to Meet Wolverine:
Please read the adoption process and contact us if you would like to organise to meet one or more of our cats/kittens. Our cats and kittens are desexed, microchipped and lifetime registered with Council, vaccinated twice or even three times in certain cases, flea and worm treated.
1. Please contact adoptions@catrescue901.org.au or complete the form below. Include your name, phone number and cat’s name/s, and we will contact you as soon as we can.
2. We will call you to have a chat and then put you in touch with the foster carer so that you can meet them.
3. In line with ethical rescue practice, we will do a home check before the adoption is finalised and all adoptions are on a 2 weeks trial basis.
4. Adoption payments – Please ensure when adopting that you donate the adoption fee here.
5. CatRescue 901 is solely run and supported by volunteers and we rely on donations to rescue kittens and cats and to run our ongoing subsidised desexing program. If you would like to support us please make a tax deductible donation.
